Kenkre Colts To Play Exhibition Game With Kashmiri Side
Kenkre FC U-17 boys team will be playing against a team from the state of Jammu and Kashmir in Mumbai.
As part of an incredible initiative by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), a team combined of players from all the districts in the state of Jammu and Kashmir will play a friendly match against our young lads.
The CRPF Battalion 160 have garnered the best of the young talent from all across the North Indian state to take part in their "Bharat Darshan" civic initiative. This movement has seen a lot of Kashmiri youth players showcase their talent in tournaments across the state and have been handpicked by the CRPF for a nationwide tour.
As part of this "Bharat Darshan" tour, the team will be facing off against Kenkre FC's U-17 team to provide them exposure and help them test their mettle against top teams outside Kashmir. The aim of the CRPF's initiative is to engage Kashmiri youth through sports. who have faced harsh times in recent years but inspire them to learn about the culture and be a part of the rising footballing potential in the country.
The exhibition match between the Kashmiri side and Kenkre U-17 boys will take place at the Goans Ground in Churchgate at 5:00 pm on 25th May 2018.
